Creating Bridges – Buildex Presentation

Ecolighten would like to thank the organizers of Buildex for the opportunity to present at this year’s conference.  Our session: “Creating Bridges – Green Building Theory & Practical Application” was well attended with builders, architects and trades engaging in a lively Q&A. 

Through the lens of a Passive House on Gabriola Island, creating bridges between green building theory and practical application showcased how project challenges are met through creative solutions, innovative technologies and sound financial/energy modeling.  When combined with an integrated design process, Passive House certification requirements are met without sacrificing some of the conveniences and amenities of the North American lifestyle.
