Ecolighten & Energy Save New West - New West family finds comfort in energy retrofit
Ecolighten is pleased to support the City of New Westminster with their community energy program Energy Save New West. The program provides local homeowners and business with access to energy evaluations, energy upgrades, utility rebates and incentives.
As part of launching a new $1,250 “Top Up” bonus incentive designed to encourage deeper energy retrofits, the Royal City Record interviewed local participant Brenden Kennedy about his renovation project aimed at improving the energy efficiency of his 1924 home in the Moody Park neighbourhood.
The Kennedy story is a great example of the local homeowner’s experience with Energy Save New West including energy coaching, access to rebates and the improved comfort and reduced energy bills that Brenden and his family are now enjoying. We hope that story’s like Kennedy’s will motivate others to take advantage of the many benefits that completing home energy upgrades provide.
